Office goers spend most of their days trapped in between air-tight walls, surrounded by glaring lights and tend to embrace a sense of fulfilment by stepping out of the office to get a cup coffee or tea. We are spoilt by a menu of options that attempt to take our minds off to far-flung exotic places around the world. Drinks are served in paper cups whether we are on the go or not, perhaps to flatter our cult of busyness. We accept them delightfully without questioning since the desire is not the drink, but for the time and space to ponder, to find balance, or to connect or disconnect. The work attempts to depict this illusive escape phenomenon by recording the timeouts we take from our busy schedules 365 days a year.
